From these animals wonderful tasty and healthy produce is made including, handmade sausages, dry cured and smoked bacon, free range eggs, milk, cream and yoghurt often processed on the farm. Also there is apple juice and in season; tomatoes, raspberries, strawberries, apples, plums and pears.
There are over 60 different types of cheese made in Sussex and a wonderful array of jams, mustards and sauces.

Sustaining Rural Communities. In buying local food, the continuance of the rural community is secured. Farmers need feed merchants, plumbers, electricians. Farmers families attend the local school, use the doctor, dentist and post office. And they buy food too!

sausages   Sausages and Bacon from either free range or low intensively reared pigs, ie: barn kept with deep straw beds.
Your supplier may might make their own sausages and cure bacon, but where did the pork come from. It is important to ask this question.
Would you like to make your own sausages?
Have a fun day out and learn the art of making sausages and curing bacon
